We were approached by a customer with the task of creating a tower defense mobile game for Android with an emphasis on 1vs1 online battles. The main requirements: dynamic gameplay, a well-thought-out balance between defense and attack, the ability to pump units and a convenient interface.

Our solution
We took a comprehensive approach to implementation, covering all the key stages of creating a mobile game:
- Game design. Developed the basic concept of the world: races, castles, towers, warriors and heroes. We introduced a system of slots for defense towers, the possibility of merging them to obtain more powerful structures. We have thought out the economy of the game: manna, currency, crystals.
- Programming. Implemented a PvP module for online battles between players in the 1vs1 format. Ensured stable server connection, minimum latency and crash protection. Added algorithms for the generation of chests and random bonuses.
- Visual and UX. We created bright graphics in a fantasy style, a simple and clear interface that is adapted to mobile screens. Added attack, magic and castle destruction animations to make the gameplay spectacular.
- Balance and testing. Worked out the characteristics of units and towers so that each tactic has its advantages and weaknesses. Conducted multi-stage testing: from an alpha version with basic functionality to PvP duels with real users.
The result is a product that combines strategic depth with dynamism and simplicity for the player.
Result
Towers Age was released on Android as a modern Tower Defense game with PvP mode:
- Players got a large-scale world with different races, units and tactics.
- Towers can not only be built, but also combined to strengthen the defense.
- Online 1vs1 battles have become the main feature that distinguishes the game from classic TDs.
- A simple entry threshold + gradual complexity ensured good user retention.
Already in the first weeks after the release, the game began to collect positive reviews and organic downloads on Google Play.
